Midwest Rugby Football Union

Beginning with the 2013-2014 season, all teams competing in a Midwest league, from DIV to DI Men, and DII to DI Women, will be required to log their match information in the USA Rugby Competition Management System at http://usarugbystats.com.  Failure to properly log match information could result in teams being ineligible to participate in Midwest or National playoffs.

Each league has their entire schedule built into the system by USA Rugby, which in turn, are displayed on this site at http://www.midwestrugbyunion.org/index.php/competition/league-schedules-results.

Standings for each league are displayed via the USA Rugby Competitions Management System on this site at http://www.midwestrugbyunion.org/index.php/competition/league-standings.

Teams have been provided their login credentials by their respective league coordinators, as well as some documents that will help with the process of knowing what information to track, and how to enter it.

The Competition Management Handbook gives detailed instructions for the user about the application itself, as well as some of the functionality and intended use.

The following forms each play a role in ensuring the match information is captured correctly:

Match Roster

Running Score Form

Player Movement Form

The Match Roster should be provided to your opponent on the day of the match, so the player check can be completed by each side.  This will allow for verification that players did, indeed, play in a qualifying match, should an eligibility issue arise.

The Running Score Form is self-explanatory, but within it you will notice that each team should be tracking not only who scored, but at what point during the match the score was made.

Player Movement Form is probably the most foreign, and likely most difficult sheet to keep updated.  This is where the focus is on who actually played within each match.  In addition, however, clubs need to track Red and Yellow cards with this sheet.

It is the responsibility of both clubs to track and record scoring and player movement for each side.
